About the Role

As an Account Manager at our freight brokerage firm, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our valued clients. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, understanding their unique needs and providing exceptional customer service. Cultivate long-term relationships and ensure client satisfaction.

2. Freight Management: Coordinate and oversee the transportation of goods for clients, including negotiating rates with carriers, tracking shipments, and addressing any issues or delays that may arise.

3. Sales and Business Development: Identify opportunities to expand our client base and generate new business. Proactively engage with potential clients, present our services, and negotiate contracts to secure new accounts.

4. Operational Efficiency: Collaborate with internal teams, such as dispatchers and logistics coordinators, to ensure seamless execution of freight movements. Monitor performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective solutions.

5. Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Use this knowledge to provide strategic insights and support decision-making processes.
